“We are delighted to have been asked by Hong Kong Cable TV to provide them with equipment and technical support for this world class event” says Simon Clifford, Sales and Marketing Director at Cogent Technologies.  “We are sure that the NanoSat’s versatility and performance, coupled with our skill and experience in supporting events similar to this, will be a great benefit to Hong Kong Cable TV, the broadcast rights holder in Hong Kong for these Games.”

Clifford continues “In particular, engineers at Hong Kong Cable TV are delighted with the ease with which the lightweight NanoSat terminal can be transported and assembled. Our unique Q-TOUCH auto-acquisition control system plus Compass monitoring system has repeatedly enabled them to be ‘on station’ and ready to uplink in a matter of minutes from arriving on site. This is a great help to them, as they have daily feeds from multiple locations around London.
